Subject: Renaming of Judicial Titles
Dear Respected Recipients,
It has come to the collective realization of the Pakistani Nation that the honorable term "Judge" no longer aptly represents the current stature and perception of our judiciary. Over time, the word "Judge" has been associated globally with integrity, impartiality, and unwavering adherence to justice. Unfortunately, repeated actions and decisions by certain members of our judiciary have distanced them from these noble ideals.
In view of this, and in the spirit of aligning nomenclature with public perception, it is hereby recommended that:
All Supreme Court Judges shall henceforth be addressed as Lieutenant Generals.
All High Court Judges shall be known as Major Generals.
All Session Judges shall be called Colonels.
All Accountability Court Judges shall be referred to as Brigadiers.
This change aims to reflect a more fitting image of authority and hierarchical command—attributes currently more closely associated with these honorable members than the traditional principles of justice.
The Pakistani Nation believes that this terminological adjustment will prevent further misuse of the revered title "Judge" and help better align expectations between the judiciary and the public they are meant to serve.
We trust this recommendation will be adopted without delay, in the true spirit of transparency and national interest.
