The suggestion ignores the facts that pakistanis are living a very hard life, job opportunities are hard to come by, for common man there is not much doing in business as well. In this scenario, if you have even one person with a rifle over a 100 common people they will do what the gunman says. Because all they want is to be able to work tomorrow for their family.
People don't care to vote, but they have to do so, there is a continuous threat due to stories they have experienced in their own life or may be in their close relatives, that if they don't do what Mafia intends, they will have to lose more precious things in their lives. And believe me people won't come out of this threat even if you try to convince them that mafia no more exists. Because it is better not to go against and keep yourself secured.
1. Karachi politics is about Jamaat e Islami, PPP, ANP and Sunni Tehreek. They can suggest better how to go with the elections there, I am not sure they will be heard.
2. Who can ensure in Karachi? "No party worker should be allowed within one km radius of every poling station." The armed men at large.
3. Voters know everything but they have no option. Life is more important than a vote.
4. Sensible people are sensibly coward.
5. Question is not of winning an election, it is about participation under a similar environment. Not threats.
6. Of course we don't need tr hang all of them, only those who are afraid of a trial in a court neither now, nor during the last 8 years when there was more justice for them.
7. Did MK demolish everything what JI Nazim did. Instead he inaugurated as his own project without mentioning the name of the person who started. absolutely ridiculous suggestion.
8. 8 years require an 8 year Musharraf or his pro rule. Remember Ishratul Ebad is still the governor.
9. In the current circumstances a mere picture of gun will serve the purpose of Elections.
