we people often complain that media is biased, they are highlighting non issues, indulging people in petty affairs. but the thing i have noticed we people actually promote their this attitude, if we stop watching their show, they will probably come up with quality material and good homework for their shows, highlighting geniune issues. I will give you one example, moeed pirzada conducts one show on PTV named, sochta pakistan, the guy is really marvellous in the way that he never highlights petty issues, his topics are quite informative supplemented with a knowledgeable panel which is expert in that particular area. he discusses issues that are concerned with common man and Pakistan as a whole. but sad to say that admins dont post his show in daily talkshows, thats quite unfair. we ourselves are promoting these behaviours of media with our attitude. zara sochye

It reflects over own mindset, attitude and practice yet we expects things to be better forgetting the fact that you only reap what you sow.

the fact that in current practice by channels, the topics are derisive, they have no idea what to talk, with no journalistic background. they just need one goody goody face, with a guest panel of politicians, who dont know how to talk either, except mudslinging and blaming the other party. and the result is no one agrees or disagrees with others, the shows always end inconclusive, the host in the end tells people, kaun sacha kaun jhoota faisla apne karna hai. what the heck, then what was the debate for ?

Thanks for sharing your views & coming up with a valid point :) We don't record videos, I remember we used to post this show regularly, but have never seen it on the site lately, I just googled it and found that the last recorded show available was of 10 of August 2012.

thanks for replying, actually i found this disconnect too, but the thing is i was even unable to find shows till 10th august, the forum moderators had left posting the videos. i know that fact that you people dont record videos, but at least could provide links, because i like to see talkshows posted on siasat.pk, even when they are available on the other sites as well, but i find this site close to my heart, so its a request as a member so that i dont need to wander on other sites. thanks
