A little about Atif Mian

Atif Mian is John H. Laporte, Jr. Class of 1967 Professor of Economics, Public Policy and Finance at Princeton University, and Director of the Julis-Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy and Finance at the Woodrow Wilson School. He holds a bachelors degree in Mathematics with Computer Science and Ph.D. in Economics from MIT. He has also taught at the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Chicago.

Professor Mian's expertise are in the area of macro economics and finance and his research has been published in all the top academic journals in economics and finance. Widely regarded as one of the best economists in his area, IMF identified Atif as one of twenty-five young economists who are shaping the world's thinking about the global economy.

His book, House of Debt, explains how excessive debt lead to a global economic crisis and what needs to be done to fix the financial system. The book, and his work, have won awards and been critically acclaimed by The New York Times, Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and The Atlantic among others. Nobel Laureate Paul Krugman describes Atif as a, "leading expert on the macroeconomic effects of private debt." Larry Summer, probably the most influential American Economist in academia describes Atif’s work as, ”in many ways a model for what economists should do”.

Qadyani issue is very complicated, and no one but Qadyanis have made it complicated, I have many friend who are Qadyani, I respect them and their families and we do talk on this subject as well. I have reservation on that subject, as we discuss among Sunni, Shia, then hanafi, brailavi, hanbali and even with our Christian friend, Sikh, Hindu friends we talk and ask some time very direct questions but they know we just discuss to know about each other, it never affected our friendships or respects.
But they are all Pakistanis and they must be given proper respect, rights and security as any Pakistani enjoys these facilities.
Mr.Mian deserve every applause for showing the patriotism and coming to Pakistan to help develop Pakistan. His qualifications and expertise are required and he should be added with every respect.

ابھی نئی نئی حکومت ہے اور اتنی مظبوط بھی نہی ہے
اپوزیشن کی کافی سیٹیں ہیں ، خان کے تیور بھی کریک ڈاون کرنے کے ہیں
ابھی پنجاب حکومت بھی اسٹبلش نہی ہوئی

بہتر ہے کہ خان صاحب نیا کٹا نہ کھولیں
ورنہ لوگ بات کا بتنگڑ بنا دیں گے
ہمارے لوگوں میں ابھی اتنا حوصلہ اور قابلیت نہ ہے کہ کسی غیر مسلم کو علمی طور سے قابو کر سکیں
ہمیں صرف تشدد کا ہی راستہ آتا ہے

Barabar ke rights bilkul milne chahiye. Shart yeh hai keh qanoon keh tehat haq mangnay wala pehle khud to qanoon ko manay. Qadyani qanoon ki khullam khulla khilaf warzi karte hue khud ko musalman bolte hain, jhoot bolte hain, dhoka dete hain. Phir kis mun se kehna keh hamain hamare qanooni haq do?
Pehle khud ko aik minority manna hoga, phir saray wohi huqooq milne chahiye jo aik minority ko milne chahiye. Phir agar Hindu justice ban sakta hai to qadyani musheer bhi
