Keep your connection with social media platforms anomyized. Always mask your IP by using VPN and do not allow these devices access to your GPS/Location. And make sure you mask your IP of those countries who are not on MLAT treaties and agreement list.
Reason is very simple. X might use the IP address to determine whether the user in question is actually located within Pakistan or using services from within its jurisdiction. The location of the IP address can play a significant role in determining the appropriateness and legality of the government's request. Even though they don't have direct access to person's citizenship, they use user's IP address, phone number and various degrees of user-provided information (location sharing, such as language settings, nature of content interacted with, etc.). It's always advisable to keep your identity protected from criminals and even from governments who do not respect freedom of speech.
