1. This is misleading and false. :x
a) Islam did not bring Europe out of Dark Ages.
People born in the Islamic faith (born to muslim parents), or people who converted to Islam should be given credit for the above.

b) Please remember, Islam is an ideology. It is open to interpretation, and there are as many interpretations as there are people/scholars. :geek:

c) We can see all around us that countries following Islam, completely or in parts, are lagging behind in science. :?

d) Therefore, Islam, like Christianity, which is based on faith and which requires people to blindly follow what is written in the holy book or what the mullahs etc. say, is by nature static and opposes progress and moving forward.

Religion is regressive by nature.

2. Womens rights:
a) This is also false. Sugar coating islam and presenting false information to gullible people in the west or else where.

b) At best what Islam did for 6th century Arab women might be better than what they were suffering earlier, but to say that Islam introduced womens rights is laughable and outright lies.

c) At present Islam is the most oppressive religion for women to be in. :evil:

would you pay unneccessary attention to what Contra might think ? Or you really care what he might and might not think about Islam. ? The guidence is from Allah, My brother and for whoever he choses he guides. Not everyone is lucky.......I wouldn't care what he says or think.
