30kg bomb defused near JPMC, Karachi before Jumma prayer

KARACHI: A remote-controlled bomb containing 30 kg of explosives was defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad on Friday from near the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JMPC), Express News reported.
Unidentified miscreants placed the bomb inside a metal box and concealed it underneath bricks.
Residents who discovered the box reported it to the Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar Waqar Milan.
A Bomb Disposal Squad was dispatched to the site to defuse the device.
Acting CCPO Iqbal Mehmood told the media that the bomb contained 30kg of explosives.
Mehmood said that the device was planted in the ground behind the residential area of JPMC, which is used for Friday prayers.
He said that the bomb was made of ball bearings, detonators and batteries. He added that the bomb resembled the device targeting navy buses in Baldia Town, which was also defused by the squad.
SP Milan told the media that the miscreants wanted to target people coming in for Friday prayers.
The bomb was large enough to target an area of 500 meters within its range.

I am wondering , though it is good that it was dealt with in time but our agencies never solve such cases, never catch the true criminals, no update, no investigation to capture the terrorist.
This has become a practice that terrorist plant a bomb, if we are lucky enogh it will be caught in time other wise a blast which kills many but no proceedings , no arrest , no interest to end this bloody game.

It seems to be that CIA/TTP/RAW has run short of Khud Kush breed. It is feared that most the recent bomb blast incidents which were termed as suicide attacks were actually not suicide attacks. The bombs were planted ones. However, to dump the cases they were declared KHud Kush. As a case in point the planted bomb blasts in Ashoora processions were declared as Khud Kush.

It is responsibilty of all of us not only polic and security forces to keep an eye on such kinda boxes, material, strange people around such places and inform immediately police, also if you are not sure it is bomb or not.
