Most of the laws you have in Pakistan, religion being involved in governance, favouritism being given to a particular religion, death penalties for criticizing a particular religion, inter-religious marriages not being allowed etc, the same laws were there in Europe in 1700s. Pakistani society is only a few centuries behind Europe but we will catch up eventually the best we can do is educate people and give it some time.

Thats what it should be but in Pakistan religion is much more than just what society believes. It interferes with State and Law as it did when the Church was in power in Europe. All the developed countries have passed this stage and Pakistan will too.

No I am not Ahmedi or Ismaeli, I was born in Sunni family and I have no agenda.

Yes when Europe was in the dark ages most of their laws were based on religion. Criticizing Christianity or believing in the wrong version of Christianity carried the death sentence in some European until the 1820s. This changed after the enlightenment in Europe and since then the newer laws are not based on religion but they are based on reason. This is why the West became much more successful than East since 18th century.

As for implementing religion in its true form there is no example in the 21st century of a country that implemented religion and gained prosperity. Its the opposite, countries that are more secular are more prosperous and there are many studies on this.

There are many countries around us that are succesful, we should look at their history and see what they did right and implement that system as we know it works.

You flawed logic suggests what if they used this economic model, well so what. Iran, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia cud have sold oil in a their currency. What if's are good for books and nothing more.
