The UN refugee agency plans to help in the voluntary repatriation of some 150,000 Afghan refugees from Pakistan this year.

Pakistan continues to host about 1.7 million refugees. Most of them are from Afghanistan and live in refugee villages and urban areas, reports Xinhua.
Since March 2002, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees has facilitated the return of some 3.7 million Afghans from Pakistan, UNHCR representative Neil Wright said Sunday.

I think Afghani brothers should go home now. Pakistan sacrificed for decades and for that we received a very shameful response back from Afghani brothers.

From Indian backed support to terrorist attacks on Pakistani Armed Forces to the indian training camps in Afghanistan damaged Afghani brothers image totally in our eyes. We want peace with our brothers but leave us in peace now.

Our co struggle should remain against unbelievers who want to destroy Islam and muslim nations.

salam to ur brotherhood, you want them to save ur @$$ when u need them but dont want them to live with u.
about ur myth of pak helping afghanistan, without afghanistan, their would have been no US $$$$$$$$ and military aid in the last 3 decades.
anyway,Afghan refugees are living in this country for almost 3 decades and all these generations who were born here in pak should be given pakistani citizenship.

the repatriation programes after the US occupation of Afghanistan have been very organised and these poor afghans are asked to provide bio metric data for the few bucks they get.there were these HOLIDAYS cases but only in the begining and later on UNHCR will keep ur bio metric data to avoid any re-payments.

They'll simply hop across the Durand line to return back the next day. What we should do is form a confederation with Afghanistan that will largely expand our territory and would be our gateway to Central Asia, this is what Allama Iqbal envisioned.

With the capital in Islamabad the'd be free to live anywhere and we too would be able to reach Kabul or Kandahar, this inshallah is the future. This would also eradicate the territorial dispute we have with them over FATA and Pakhtunkhwa that were once a part of Afghanistan. If two nations claim the same thing then it should be shared especially when there is so much in common.
