Brother the 17.4 Megawatt has been added to the national grid already.
We, the people of KPK have literally no control over the distribution etc...
There is no royalty been given to the people of the area but it is assumed that the voltage issue in the area would be solved.
Its good for Pakistan anyway.

That`s Mean mu mai jo zera America ny diya Gomal zam dam Osi Zeray ka hissa hai????.. Or jo Beej America CIA or Black Water ki Madaad sy kar raha hai Os ki Fasal kaab Katay Ga America??? or ye bhi bata dain k jo NATO k Containers America ny karachi sy Ghaib hony sy Inkar kar diya hai is k pichy kya Mantaq hai??? ye bhi bata dain k Aj tak Drone Attack sy srif 37 dhehshat Gard or 1500 Masoom loog mary gae kahi Pakistaniyo k Jaan k badly Diyaat tu nhi diya jaraha hai America ki taraf sy Pakistan ko???

i worked on this dam project in 2003. It is 100 % concrete dam. CWHEC was contractor at that time. It supposed to be completed in 2006 but took more time because of security issues. in those days, My boss, Mr. Li was kidnapped but he was recovered soon but the worked was stopped for a year. After that again 3 Chinese were kidnapped, as i remember, out of these 3, 2 were killed and one was recovered. after that CWHEC stopped the work completely.
Later FWO started the project again in 2006 and now today it has been inaugurated.
Want to share one more thing, Gomal zam dam and mirani dam were started in 2002. Gomal zam dam was awarded to Chinese company and Mirani dam was awarded to Pakistani company. Good to inform you that Pakistani company completed its dam project before time in 2007 but Gomal zam dam is late for about 7 years. I worked on both of these projects.
Later FWO started the project again in 2006 and now today it has been inaugurated.
