نجم سیٹھی نئے چیئرمین پی سی بی کے لیے مضبوط امیدوار ہیں۔ وزیراعظم شہبازشریف سے نجم سیٹھی کی ظہرانے پر لاہور میں ملاقات ہوئی تھی۔

وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے نجم سیٹھی کو نیا چیئرمین پی سی بی بنانے کا عندیہ دیا ہے۔ وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے نجم سیٹھی سے کہا ہے کہ 2014 کا پی سی بی آئین بحال کیا جائے، 2014 کے پی سی بی آئین کی بحالی کے بعد ڈپارٹمنٹل کرکٹ بحال ہو جائے گی۔
