Nice Column. You see great philosophers, scientists, engineers , poets and inventors are born usually in those societies which have a working system and state provides basic human needs (food,justice etc) and people have time enough to think about other things. In the past it was Muslim states where great minds originated from now its Western countries where most of work is going on in the fields like Science, Philosophy, Social Sciences etc,.

What a ____ person .. He wrote an article on Imam Ghazali and Ibn Rushd views without himself reading their work. He just twisted all the history to prove his secular point. Instead of believing such non-sense people I request everybody who is interested in this subject to read the literature.

If somebody wants to know Imam Ghazali's view about natural sciences: read "Classification of knowledge in Islam" and first book (book of knowledge) of Ihya aluum ud deen.

'time and space' is another concept and human being cant find this myth till yet.
moreover QURAN is a part of chain of divine books so it is a gift from a chain of gifts by ALLAH to humanity.

Dear, its a very THOUGHT provoking column, time and space concept of philosophers was outrightly rejected by Imam Ghazali and you need to probably go through the column again... its specifically written for those having any kind of interest in Philosophy with an AND OR with religion.

i said space and time is a myth,,if imam ghazali rejected but some others favored and have their own theories.

A column might not be a complete thesis. In Yasir's case, it shows he has started reading on these lines and sharing his thoughts on the medium he got to do.
