شہباز حکومت کاملک میں معاشی ایمرجنسی نافذ کرنے کا فیصلہ

وفاقی حکومت نے ملک میں معاشی ایمرجنسی نافذ کرتے ہوئے پیٹرول بجٹ میں کٹوتی کا فیصلہ کرلیا ہے۔

خبررساں ادارے کی رپورٹ کے مطابق وفاقی حکومت نے ملک کی بگڑی ہوئی معاشی صورتحال کو دیکھتے ہوئے کابینہ ارکان، پارلیمنٹیرینز، بیوروکریسی کے پیٹرول اور دیگر مراعات میں کٹوتی کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔

رپورٹ کے مطابق حکومت نے معاشی بحران پر قابو پانے کیلئے سرکاری اخراجات میں کمی کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔

واضح رہے کہ گزشتہ روز وزیر اعلی سندھ اور وزیراعلی خیبر پختونخوا نے بھی صوبائی وزراء اور افسران کے پیٹرول الاؤنس میں 40 فیصد کٹوتی کا اعلان کیا تھا ، جبکہ ایڈمنسٹریٹر کراچی نے کے ایم سی ملازمین کے پیٹرول الاؤنس میں کٹوتی کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔

وزیراعلی سندھ مراد علی شاہ نے یہ فیصلہ کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کے بعد خزانے پر اس کا اضافی بوجھ نہیں پڑنا چاہیے، کیونکہ خزانے میں بوجھ کا مقصد عوام پر مزید بوجھ ڈالنے کے مترادف ہے،پیٹرول الاؤنس میں کٹوتی کے فیصلے سے سے خزانے پر بوجھ کو کم کرنے میں مدد ملے گی۔

واضح رہے کہ گزشتہ روز وفاقی حکومت نے پیٹرول کی قیمت میں مزید 30 روپے کا اضافہ کرنے کا اعلان کیا تھا نئی قیمتوں کا اطلاق رات 12 بجے سے ہوگیا ہے، ایک ہفتے کے دوران حکومت نے پیٹرول کی قیمتوں میں 60 روپے کا اضافہ کردیا ہے۔

Not even the most richest country in the world give free petrol to govt. sector employees. All expenses are paid after the event, and the employees have to justify that they were on government business and not on their own and provide all receipts. To be honest IK should have banned it upto 100% in his own govt. Something to look out for in the next government.

Petrol is convenience allowance and every good private company give it to its employees, I know hundreds of private and public sector companies in Pakistan , Gulf and europe.

In Pakistan it's only limited to after 20th scale or functional appointments.

But yes there is alot of misuse of functional vehicles in Pakistan, politicians and senior officers keeps alot of vehicles in their custody and working of departments suffer.

Correct order is

All officials, ministers etc who are not entitled for cars should return the official cars. ( 50%+ cars are in custody of ministers, relatives, etc.)

Any official functional cars other than entitled shall be parked in offices.

All luxury cars more than 1000plus cc shall be auctioned.

Any official car seen on private duty shall result in disciplinary action against individual.

Just enforce existing rules and POL budget will be reduced by 50%.

Dear there is no concept of receipts etc in private companies around the world, fuel cards are given with a fuel limit, dedicated vehicles are provided.

However in Pakistan, it is mandatory to keep receipts, duty register of every Govt vehicle, every trip with meter reading is recorded but still alot of embezzlement is done in fuel expense. Cars are used somewhere else but fake record is completed somehow.
