To all those who are interested in buying a tablet with budget below 100$::

1. never think of buying any tablet with A8 CPU (they are single core, with very poor performance),

2. Nvidia's "Tegra" series, and Qualcomm's "Snapdragon" series are definitely out of this price range. Don't think about them as well. Their SoC alone costs more than 130$ :13: so the complete tablet costs more than 180$.

3. don't think of Windows tablets

4. in this price range the best (and yes, the only one you should think about) SoC is RK3188 (4x1.7GHz Cortex-A9 CPU, 2GB RAM, 8GB ROM). Tablets with this SoC are available starting from 70$ (because this SoC costs about 40-45$).

For the purpose of some basic survey, the best website is aliexpress.com

Summary:
any tablet which has ARM's Cortex - A8 CPU is a waste.
ARM's Cortex - A9 QuadCore (2012) or A15 QuadCore (2013) are better, and best CPUs respectively.

Example: this tablet pc costs 70$ (+18$ shipping) = 88$ = 9,000Rs., and would be 4-8 times faster than single/dual A8 based tablets.
