Purpose of God for the revelation of his messages to humanity was to let mankind know why God has created mankind and the rest of the things and also to let them know the way whereby they could fulfil the God assigned purpose. The quran in this era is a manifesto or a program from God for mankind to implement for living in this world properly.

You are right that the quran needs to be interpreted by humanity before it could be implemented by it. However to do so one has to know some basics without which the quran can never be interpreted properly. All this has been explained in detail by me in the link I have provided. I have gathered that information there for all those who are interested in knowing actual deen of islam.

In short islam insaaniyat ko salaamati ki taraf le jaane waala raasta hai. is raaste ka maqsad saaf saaf zahir hai ke insaan is duniya main aik aisi manzil per ponhc jaayen jahaan per woh aik doosre se salaamat reh saken. islam ke ilaawa jo raasta bhi insaan apnaayen ge woh un ko un ki apni tabahi aur barbaadi ki taraf hi le ker jaaye ga aik doosre ke haathun jo hamaari aankhun ke saamne ho rahaa hai. aaj se nahin hazaarun baras se ho rahaa hai aur ye hota hi rahe ga jab tak islam ka paighaam her aik insaan tak nahin pohnch jaata aur her koi us ko dilo jaan se theek tarah se samajh ker nahin apnaata.
