this month has 1.5 billion dollar increase ,however, in Nov petrol was cheaper than Oct. I am still very confused what was emergency import of 1.5 billion dollar?

For november wait for report in a few days. Just read the report of October. It's shocking already

Army knows what shobaz did through orange train and sahiwal coal plants. Imagine importing coal from karachi and taking it all the way to sahiwal to fire a coal plant. Why not have the coal plant near the port? Because shobaz wanted to appease votebank in central punjab.
Same with lahore metro which is going to cost 8-10 billion subsidy every year!

Yeah well, Higher imports means a better life for many in the shape of business expansion, higher tax collection etc, so it doesn't mean we lose everything when we import high, but yes it is about priorities and we need to keep a balance. And it can be managed with little effort so it's not like your corrupts were better or they are coming back only because of a few months higher import bill.

I have always been in praise of Hafeez Shaikh.
They way he has saved the country twice, both at the time of global recessions.
Financial crisis of 2008 & post-COVID crisis currently were best managed by this man. Who never shied away from taking difficult decisions.
Imagine if he stayed as FM during last govt, he would have sky-rocketed our economy. Poor guy always got the worst
