آرمی چیف نے انسدادِ دہشت گردی کے خلاف جاری آپریشنز کے دوران دہشت گردانہ حملوں کو کامیابی سے ناکام بنانے اور اہم دہشت گرد سرغنہ کو جہنم واصل کرنے میں پاک فوج اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کی انتھک کوششوں کو سراہا۔

آرمی چیف نے کور کمانڈرز کو ہدایت کی کہ دہشت گردوں کو کسی بھی جگہ سے فعال نہ ہونے دیں، پاکستان کی مسلح افواج اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کو پوری قوم کی حمایت حاصل ہے، مسلح افواج پاکستان سے دہشت گردی کے اس خطرے کو مستقل طور پر ختم کرنے کے لیے پرعزم ہیں۔

شرکاء نے بشام میں چینی شہریوں پر بزدلانہ دہشت گردانہ حملے اور بلوچستان میں معصوم شہریوں کے بہیمانہ قتل کی مذمت کی، شرکا کو بریف کیا گیا کہ کس طرح افغانستان سے سرگرم دہشت گرد گروہ علاقائی اور عالمی سلامتی کے لیے خطرہ ہیں۔

شرکا کو بتایا گیا کہ یہ دہشت گرد گروہ پاکستان اور اس کے اقتصادی مفادات بالخصوص چین پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری (سی پیک) کے خلاف پراکسی کے طور پر کام کر رہے ہیں۔

کانفرنس کے شرکا نے غیر قانونی طور پر مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیرمیں جاری بھارتی جارحیت پر شدید تشویش کا اظہار کیا اور اس بات کا اعادہ کیا کہ پاکستان اپنے کشمیری بہن بھائیوں کی سیاسی، سفارتی اور اخلاقی حمایت جاری رکھے گا۔

کور کمانڈرز نے فلسطینی عوام کے ساتھ یکجہتی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے غزہ میں انسانی حقوق کی سنگین خلاف ورزیوں، جنگی جرائم اور نسل کشی کی مذمت کی اور مشرقِ وسطیٰ میں بڑھتی ہوئی کشیدگی پر بھی تشویش کا اظہار کیا اور کہا کہ اگر فریقین نے فوری طور پر کشیدگی کو کم نہ کیا تو ایک وسیع علاقائی تنازعہ جنم لے سکتا ہے۔

فورم نے مسلح افواج کی حوصلہ شکنی کے لیے بدنیتی پر مبنی پروپیگنڈا مہم پر تشویش کا اظہار کیا اور زور دیا کہ قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں اور سیکیورٹی فورسز پر بے بنیاد الزامات ایک وطیرہ بن چکا ہے، ان بے بنیاد الزامات کا مقصد عوام اور پاکستان کی مسلح افواج کے درمیان دراڑ ڈالنے کی کوشش ہے اور ہم ایسی کوششوں کو کامیاب نہیں ہونے دیں گے اور اِس کے خلاف قانون اور آئین کے مطابق سخت کارروائی کو یقینی بنایا جائے گا۔

As far as performance of the government is concerned, I don't know much about the performance of PTI hybrid government except throwing every opposition leader in jail. That's the only thing I think they did successfully.

How this hybrid government will perform, will become clear over time. I think everyone should wait and watch.

The fact of the matter is that Pakistan army do function as a jagga badmash and at the end of the day they don't care about their public image. If it's good, great. If not, no big deal.

The recent clean chit to Faiz is the clear sign. Even though it was published in the mainstream media that Faiz accessed Nadra and tired to stop Asim from becoming Army chief. But the army protects its officers at all costs, while at the same time throwing political leaders in jail. But if the political leaders are content with this whack circus, there's not much anyone can do about it.

PTI had immense public support it could have sat with political leadership on the agenda of minimising establishment's role in politics but they chose to go down the path of becoming a terror force.

The political leadership wants their ass jammed by the army. One sits on the general's lap, the other dismounts, then the other dismounts, the first sits. And the circus continues....
