بھارت نے ملکی وسائل سے تیار کردہ ہائپر سونک میزائل کے کامیاب تجربے کا اعلان کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ اس نے دفاعی ٹیکنالوجی میں ایک اہم سنگِ میل عبور کیا ہے۔ بھارتی وزارتِ دفاع کے مطابق یہ میزائل 1500 کلومیٹر تک مار کرنے کی صلاحیت رکھتا ہے اور اس کا تجربہ اُڑیسہ کے ڈاکٹر اے پی جے عبدالکلام جزیرے سے کیا گیا۔

بھارتی وزیر دفاع راج ناتھ سنگھ نے سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارم ایکس پر کہا کہ اس کامیابی نے بھارت کو جدید ترین ٹیکنالوجیز کے حامل ممالک کے ایلیٹ گروپ کا حصہ بنا دیا ہے۔ ڈی آر ڈی او نے بھی اس میزائل کے تجربے کو مکمل طور پر کامیاب قرار دیا اور بتایا کہ فلائٹ ڈیٹا نے تجربے کی درستگی کی تصدیق کی۔

ہائپر سونک میزائل: دنیا کے صرف چند ممالک کے پاس یہ ٹیکنالوجی موجود ہے، جس میں امریکہ، روس، اور چین شامل ہیں۔ بھارت کا اس فہرست میں شامل ہونا اس کی دفاعی صلاحیت میں بڑا اضافہ ہے۔
