Why do we have to exaggerate things? No stock market was destroyed by GME frenzy. No stock market was "shattered" even. It was a new phenomenon propelled by social media based retail investors. Many are going to loose money but that happens every single day. Some short squeezers are going to get some hit that is it.

How can you have a business model legitimate which runs on fake news/perception? Stocks are nothing but are Casinos where Casino is always winner.

Free mass Option trading and shorting has caused the drop in US market. Similar to pump and dump schemes, this one was done by social media based groups. Option trading is a risky business and like betting. However, investing in a company stock for long term and sharing the profit is not a gamble. Year to year US stock market yield is 7% over a century. This can't happen if it was a gamble. Greed is a curse in any scenario patience is a virtue.

No wonder Pakistan is the poorest country,We can live on charity money but we can not adopt modern money making methods.

This systen has generated tens of trillions of dollar and almost every country has adopted it.If you have to be rich,go in to stocks.

Sorry I don't want to get rich through such system which I believe is based on deceit. Please check the history of London stock exchange during Waterloo war. BTW there are other systems which generated more money than stock like drugs, weapons, prostitution.

You may very right about Options and other derivatives but what about stocks? Do stocks supply collective investments to the industry and stock owners act as vigilant on the management - typical stated functions of a stock market?
Even for Options, which is a zero-sum game indeed, but do Options provide price-stability to the industry - a typical stated purpose of Option market?
I'm not arguing but only for your opinions about these issues. Do you see a Stock Market as a service to the industry - or see it from the viewpoint of stock owners or manipulators/bankers sitting in the market - whose only goal is to make/manipulate money with doing any real work.
