سلیم صافی اپنے آپ کو ایک بہت ہی بڑا اور عظیم صحافی سمجھتا ہے۔ آدھا کالم اس پر لکھا ہے کہ مصروف تھا اور نہیں جاسکتا تھا اور عمران خان سمیت سب وزراء منت کررہے تھے کہ ہمارے ساتھ چلو پھر میں نے فون بند کردیا لیکن ایک بجے کے بعد دوبارہ فون کو آن کیا اور اس وقت انکا فون آیا اور میں ان کے ساتھ چلا گیا۔ اور پھر بدنظمی کے متعلق اسلئیے لکھا ہے کہ کسی نے اس کو گھاس نہیں ڈالی ہوگی۔ یہ جب بھی پی ٹی آئی کے جلسے میں گیا ہے اس کا ایک ہی شکوہ رہا ہے کہ کھانا نہیں ملا اور یا وقت پر کھانا نہیں ملا۔ اس کی صحافت پیٹ سے شروع ہوتی ہے اور لفافے پر ختم۔ تحریک انصاف والے نہ لوگوں کو مفت کا کھانا کھلاتے ہیں اور نہ ہی لفافے بھانٹتے ہیں۔ یہ اس وجہ سے بہت ہی ناراض ہے۔ کسی بھی پروگرام میں اگر آپ ان کو دیکھ لے تو یہ ایک لمبی بات اسطرح سے شروع کرتا ہے کہ جیسے ایک اہم بات کرنے والا ہو لیکن جب میزبان کو پتا چل جاتا ہے کہ اس کی بات میں کچھ ہے ہی نہیں تو وہ دوسرے مہمان کی طرف آجاتا ہے اور یہ جلدی ہے کہتا ہے کہ میں پہلے بات پوری کرلوں۔۔۔۔۔ اپنے علاوہ یہ سب کو بیوقوف اور کمتر سمجھتا ہے۔

حکومتی معاملات کو چلانے کا ماحول ، وزارتوں اور محکموں میں کام کرنے کا ماحول ایک خاص کیفیت کا تقاضہ کرتا ہے اور لوگوں کے کام بے ڈھنگے پن اور ہلڑ بازی والے ماحول میں نہیں ہوسکتے اور ایک خاص نظم و ضبط کا ہر حال میں سب کو خیال رکھنا ہوگا ، اسی طرح وزراء اور دوسرے حکومتی عمال کے حفاظتی ضابطوں کی سب کو پابندی کرنا ھو گی ورنہ اگر خدا نا خواستہ کل کلاں کو کوئی حادثہ ھو گیا تو پھر کیا کریں گیں

Here is the big question though - almost anyone who knows him expected this kind of column the next day then why did all these people begged him to come along?

I personally think that its wrong for the political parties to dillydally with the journalists this way. No one should have begged him to come along let alone have him ride with them on a private aircraft. Then they make him sit on the stage as if he is part of the administration specially when these were so called 'sarkari' functions.

Could it be that the provincial folks from KPK wanted him to come along because they knew that he would write something like this. I mean who in their right mind would have thought that he would write a very positive column the very next day?

As with most columns he writes there is not much sense in what he says but he does make some good points. PTI/IK has to put systems and procedures in place to make things right. The provincial organization should be given clear directions and objectives but should also be given a free hand to function. Either they should not have picked these people but now that they have they should give them some space to operate witout too much interference. The problems we face is finding the right balance, clearly defining the roles and responsibilities and then respecting the boundaries that were agreed upon.

I agree with everything you wrote brother, I also wonder what made PTI official to beg such journalists to come along, this SAFI is just a Pseudo Intellectual who is very biased towards PTI. PTI Govt. should focus only on work , the results will start coming gradually. This media played a big role in defeating PTI is general elections as they portray a negative image of PTI and put all their energies to make people believe that CHANGE slogan of PTI is nothing but a fluke...

PTI itself had set a higher standard for it to be judged at and these journalists (who may or may not have their own agendas) are holding them to these standards. If PTI is to be compared to other parties then why raise the slogan of era of new politics? It was PTI which made a ruckus about simultaneously holding of two offices.

Still that doesn't make Safi a wonderful columnist or analyst but he raised a valid point.

What I fail to understand in this 'duffer's' analysis of KPK Government under PTI & IK was & is unorganized & directionless, then tell me all other parties PPP, PML N, JUI F, ANP with their organization & direction what have they done for their provinces & the country to this date & since inception of Pakistan more than 60+ years ago. It would have been better for this 'Deaf, Dumb & Blind' to use the 'ink & paper' on the inauguration of the current projects & projects to come. With this article he has shown no 'goodwill' at heart for the People of KPK and it is only about 'personal' gain just like all other 'black-sheeps' in this trade for 'sale' to the Highest Bidder
