PTI is the only party in Pakistan’s history whose workers get killed whether it is in government or in opposition. When PPP or PMLN are in government, they protect their workers to the maximum. Last time, PTI’s two workers were killed in Daska ( Sialkot) bye election. I am not saying that one should nurture Gullu Butts in its ranks. But, there must be some deterrence/fear in the eyes of opponents that they must not mess up with party in power. Instead of using Gullu Butts, use government’s might to instill fear among the workers of opponent parties. But, don’t do zulm to them either. A balanced approach is needed.

In subcontinent, if workers of the ruling party get killed and injured, it doesn’t necessarily show that the ruling party is a peaceful party. Rather, it shows that this is a miskeen, and laachaar party that can’t ( or have no interest) protect its workers.
