Respect for this man but only real solution to prices hikes in Ramadan is to allow more and more supply of food in market.

Allow tax-free imports of food items for 30 days starting a week before Ramadan every year.

Billions of rupees that government wastes on Ramadan package will never be needed if supply stays above demand levels. No sasta bazaar will be needed. No price control or Commissioners actions will be needed for enforcement of price lists. Free market economy will be protected too.

The solution is to flood the market with even more food (a scarce resource) so we have even more excess food available to throw in trash as the extra rots away while millions still keep facing malnutrition. Capitalism is one hell of a drug.
