After reading comments from many non-muslims regarding the NZ attack and the muslim reaction to it, I can understand why many non-muslims are not very sympathetic towards the victims. We have seen many rallies and protests from the muslims because of the Christ Church attack but where were they when similar attacks happened against non-muslims?
There must be something fundamentally wrong with our way of thinking if we feel a lot of pain when muslims are killed but don't appear to care when non-muslims are killed by Islamic terrorists.

Surah 90 AL-BALAD-Foundation for blissful, dignified and secure existence of mankind from Allah as a proper human community in a kingdom for ensuring their well being through help and full support of each other by carrying out his program for fulfilment of his purpose for which he created everything including people.
This surah is named AL- BALAD from root BAAL, LAAM and DAAL. Concrete meaning of this root is kingdom in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose. Also land, world, place, country, jurisdiction, ground, basis, base, foundation, anchorage, place for rest, city, habitat, dwelling, homeland, a settling, place of stay, dust, village, township, something stationary or static or stagnant, something or someone lagging behind, to be a retard, to fall behind, to regress, to lose or be a loser, to be ignorant or unaware, to be something lacking realisation or awareness, a concept, a notion, an imagination, a setup, a setting, a location, an accommodation or lodging place, place of residence or stay etc etc.
This surah is named AL-BALAD because it talks about the kingdom of the universe wherein are placed mankind by God to live in to serve his purpose for which he created the universe and the people in it. These human beings are told by God to turn this world of theirs into a proper kingdom of God by basing their thoughts and actions upon his provided guidance as foundation for building a proper human community in this kingdom. A foundation that is proper for serving this purpose. The idea of kingdom of God is not just a concept but it needed a place as well to be actualised by mankind themselves, this is why God created this universe as well as people in it and gave people his guidance in shape of essential information to help them do so. All this is done by God so that all things God created serve his purpose including mankind. The purpose of God for doing all this was to express himself through creation and revelation and in order to be appreciated freely he created mankind with ability of choice and action. He created people knowing nothing at all but able to learn and do things and that way fulfil their purpose of creation. As explained already the verses of the Quran are full of parallel meanings that are consistent with each other. A program, constitution and law is useless if there is no place to put it into practice. This is why the Quran is full of verses that tell mankind to read this message and make proper sense of it and then apply it in such a way that the Quranic message becomes an actualised reality. Nowhere the Quran claims to be a total guidance but a complete framework for people to give them a starting point and along the way some clues to keep those people on the track who are already on the right track so that they then could bring others to same path through educating and explaining things to them. This is why mullahs are wrong in telling people that Islamic shariah is a complete guide from a to z. The Quran only gives people essential support where they need it. It is not a matter of Allah taking people by their hand and making them go through all life steps step by step. He leaves gaps for people to fill them in by their own thoughts and efforts. This is why the Quran is not about reading verses from it and applying them but first reading the verses to see how they fit with each other properly to make proper sense. This is why there is a big dispute between mullahs and scholars of deen of Islam about place value of human intellect and revelation in deen of Islam.
Mullahs claim the human brain has to follow revelation as instructions of God and carry them out one by one. However the scholars of the Quran give priority to human brain where thinking is involved and after thinking has helped understand the message of the Quran properly only then it is revelation that is to be followed faithfully as understood. This is also very much obvious from the books of Fiqh written by mullahs themselves throughout times and places. It is because mullas also drove rules of shariah from the Quran using their intellectual capacity. This shows very clearly that there are not enough instructions in the Quran to suit each and every occasion or each and every step one needs to take. In this regard even around 300 books wherein are collected Ahaadees are not sufficient. This is why mullas created Islamic law books to suit them. All this proves the claim of mullas is false about the Quran and Islam. They have created certain rules and laws to use other Muslims abusively on the basis of their authority which they claim to derive from the Quran. The truth is the Quran does not give any person any authority over another because it is a book that teaches brotherhood of humanity. What mullahs need to understand is the fact that authority rests with Allahalone, the only sovereign of the kingdom of the universe and he has authorised mankind to come together and decide matters of their concern in light of the Quranic guidance and realities facing people on the ground. Once ummah has decided matters it is then up to ummah to set up mechanisms to implement whatever they have agreed upon as a community ie it is they who must set up social, political and economic etc systems, institutions, structures, procedures and practices. All people are then just workers who are supposed to work according to instructions handed to them by their community to meet their given responsibilities so that community life could be run smoothly.
There is no role of mullas in Islamic program, constitution or law formation. Of course people must know deen of Islam from the Quran properly so that they do not mess up things for themselves as a community. This is why scholars of deen of Islam must concentrate on educating ummah rather than trying to secure their own rule on the people in the name of the Quran or deen of Islam. The Quran is all about self regulated human community and not about rule by mullas or theocracy. In each and every country mullas try to set ummah against rest of mankind by trying to create a state within a state when they have a small Muslim population. The world cannot be changed by people like these who have little idea what the Quran is all about. The reason for all the conflicts in the world is, ignorance of ummah about the proper message of the Quran thanks to its mullahs. Due to this ignorance masses in these countries are not approached properly by Muslims for getting proper message of the Quran through to these people. Instead Mullas’ stupidity shows through and each population turns against this ignorant Muslim population. This not only gives bad name to Muslims as a people but a lot of rubbish is then thrown in response to Muslim stupidity upon the Quran and the final messenger of Allah as well as deen of Islam. This is how Mullas have caused problems both for nonMuslims regarding deen of Islam and Muslims. So ummah must come out of these personality cults set up by mullahs if they want to make any inroads into human populations by knowing the message of the Quran properly and approaching nonMuslims properly. Muslims do not own Allah because he is God of all people and so is his message for all of them. All Muslims can do is be truly faithful to the message and deliver it to rest of mankind faithfully and then see the response of the human world. So people shouldn’t act as puppets of mullahs, rulers and money lenders and then expect anything good. They should be normal sensible human beings and help others be the same, that is the way to bring about kingdom based upon guidance of Allah worldwide. Any other way of life will only cause needless bloodshed between people.

Despite God giving people all essential information for living in this kingdom properly many people have been taking over each other and ignoring his guidance and the result of their such thoughts and actions has been terrible bloodshed always. God created human beings with brains and senses to learn sense and live properly in this world but most people have not been using their God given abilities appropriately. Particularly those human beings who remained unconcerned about God and humanity who lived like animals. Even today such people are a huge majority in the world who live for eating and eat for living. It is due to such people the human world stays the same or gets worse day by day instead of changing for the better. The end result is always bloody revolutions for changing the status quo. Only when masses will become properly educated about real world realities and revelation of God things will become as God wants of people otherwise humanity will keep on suffering painfully by hands of each other.
6] Yet one boasts, I can use fruit of my labour as I like and thereby inflicts harms and destructions upon others whereby he ends up a loser

7] Does he still assume no one is aware of his harmful and destructive thoughts and actions to make him face the consequences?
8] Is that not the reason We gave him two eyes to see that he is not causing harms and destructions to others
The eyes on the face and the eyes of the mind to see Our creation and revelation.
9] and a tongue and two lips to speak up against any who causes harms and destructions to others
One cannot speak just with tongue alone but one needs lips as well to speak properly. Likewise one has to speak up when one see wrong things happening around oneself to stop them.
10] as well as explained to him the consequences for conducting himself to either of the two ends?
Mankind have been explained that if they will live as told then results will be good otherwise things will turn out very bad and for a very long time.
11] Yet he does not attempt to take the path that leads him to better life
People hardly like to make efforts to achieve things that really matter. They rather use their time and resources as they wish or desire. However in that case they should not complain when they face consequences of their those very thoughts and actions but they do and blame God for their stupidity.

This world was there long before people came into this world so it does not belong to anyone other than God. He has given this world to all people to manage it for their own well being with help and full support of each other. This is why no one has right to declare himself as a ruler of this world other than God. This is why capitalism is unlawful and so is any other system which divides humanity so that some people could use others abusively for fulfilling their own personal agendas. This is why mullaism or priesthood is also not allowed in deen of Islam.

Unless people join hands and work for each other’s well being none cooperation or fighting between people can only lead them to their starvation because that is the end results of looting and plundering each other by various ways and means. Whether one robs another person out of his God assigned rights by pointing a gun to his head or by tricks of the trade, the end result is exactly the same ie starvation of the robbed people. Almost all businesses are done or wars are fought by people for robbing each other of land and resources or means of production and distribution. This is what capitalism or money system is and this is what price fixing is all about. The Quran tells people to be sensible and do not make life hell for each other by adopting harmful and destructive ways of life for petty personal gains at each other’s expense or consequences will be terrible for humanity.

17] Since Our advised way of life is highly demanding therefore it can only be lived by such individuals who join those who are truly committed to working for peace, progress and prosperity of mankind as a proper human community in a kingdom so they constantly encourage each other to be steadfast for this mission as well as constantly urge each other to ensure well being of each other in order to ensure their blissful, dignified and secure existence.

19] As for those who oppose proper way of life by denying Our set goals and guidelines for mankind, they are the people who support the wrong way of life based upon foundation of personal gains at the expense of each other whereby they inflict harms and destructions upon each other.

God wants people to be one on basis of his program, constitution and law therefore he stops them from being bad to each other through inflicting losses upon each other. Since buying and selling based business is based upon ownership of things as well as upon idea of profit and loss therefore it is not allowed in deen of Islam. It is because all things including people belongs to God so he alone has ownership of all things therefore no one has right to sell anything that does not belong to oneself. Since none has to right to sell anything therefore there does not arise question of buying anything of anyone. This world was there long before people came into this world so it does not belong to anyone other than God. He has given this world to all people to manage it for their own well being with help and full support of each other. This is why no one has right to declare himself as a ruler of this world other than God. This is why capitalism is unlawful and so is any other system which divides humanity so that some people could use others abusively for fulfilling their own personal agendas. This is why mullaism or priesthood is also not allowed in deen of Islam.
14] or to help provide livelihood for all to prevent the coming of a period of time of starvation
Unless people join hands and work for each other’s well being none cooperation or fighting between people can only lead them to their starvation because that is the end results of looting and plundering each other by various ways and means. Whether one robs another person out of his God assigned rights by pointing a gun to his head or by tricks of the trade, the end result is exactly the same ie starvation of the robbed people. Almost all businesses are done or wars are fought by people for robbing each other of land and resources or means of production and distribution. This is what capitalism or money system is and this is what price fixing is all about. The Quran tells people to be sensible and do not make life hell for each other by adopting harmful and destructive ways of life for petty personal gains at each other’s expense or consequences will be terrible for humanity.
15] for the individual close by,
16] or for the distressed individual settled at a distance.
17] Since Our advised way of life is highly demanding therefore it can only be lived by such individuals who join those who are truly committed to working for peace, progress and prosperity of mankind as a proper human community in a kingdom so they constantly encourage each other to be steadfast for this mission as well as constantly urge each other to ensure well being of each other in order to ensure their blissful, dignified and secure existence.
18] Such are the people who live by and support proper way of life for mankind.
19] As for those who oppose proper way of life by denying Our set goals and guidelines for mankind, they are the people who support the wrong way of life based upon foundation of personal gains at the expense of each other whereby they inflict harms and destructions upon each other.
20] Therefore engulfs them fire of mutual hatred between themselves resulting in their own painful suffering by hands of each other.
