اس حوالے سے وزیراعظم عمران خان نے وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب کو اہم ٹاسک سونپ دیا ۔وزیراعظم نے پنجاب حکومت کوپولیس میں کریمنل ریکارڈ والوں کی سکروٹنی کی ہدایت کردی۔ذرائع کے مطابق وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے پولیس میں مکمل سکروٹنی کیلئے 6 ماہ کا وقت مانگ لیا۔

وزیر اعظم نے وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب کو یہ بھی ہدایت کی کہ خیبرپختونخوا کی طرح پنجاب پولیس میں بھی کریمنل ریکارڈ رکھنے والوں کی سکروٹنی کی جائے ۔ادھر پنجاب پولیس کیلئے نیا ایس او پی جاری کیا گیا ہے جس میں ریڈ یا آپریشن کے دوران تمام قانونی تقاضے پورے کرنے کی ہدایت کی گئی ہے ۔پنجاب کے تمام ڈی پی اوز اور سی پی اوز کو بھیجے گئے مراسلے میں کہا گیا ہے کہ دوران آپریشن کسی بھی انسانی جان کو کوئی نقصان نہ پہنچے ۔مستقبل میں ایسا کوئی بھی کام برداشت نہیں کیا جائے گا۔

Though I hate these bloody potties from the core of my heart, Imran Niazi in particular, but I agree with Buzdar. I think he should be given a chance. And Potties should also be given a chance. Noon League couldn't improve their police as every sort of ugliness happened in Punjab under their rule.

6 months is ambitious. Take even 2 years, but fix it for good. I gave them my vote to fix my issues, not to listen to my advice or appoint the people that I like in the positions I ask. So I don't care who does it and how they do it. Durrani or someone else. But just get it done!

Exclude me out of "all" in "all are waiting". I would have been waiting if it was their 6th year/2nd term in the government. I don't expect them to get even fully grounded in 1 year. So I'll only judge them from 4th year.

However, I'm not happy with the pace of things in KPK, given that it's their 2nd term there. But we all are following the trail that opposition and media for their personal interest want us to! :cautious::cautious::cautious: Only if we as citizens were as selfish about our interests as the politicians and media are about theirs! :rolleyes::rolleyes:

It is very easy and doesn't take 6 months. All police officers in Punjab, without any exception, are corrupt and have done a lot of illegal stuff .. so dig that up in a month and then confront all of these police officer - giving them a choice either to resign or face the enquiries and suspension.
And recruit new officers on merit and professionalism .. in one year you will have a brand new professional police force

anybody who is suggesting NAsir Durrani name is living in a fools paradise.
Nasir Durrani knew exactly how difficult was it to do this amendment in Punjab Police.. he was from Punjab police.. may be thats why he just resigned from the job of bringing the reforms..this is my opinion... and i have nothing bad for Nasir Durrani in the heart.. he did what he thought right thing...

ہماری عوام اس قدر جذباتی ہے اور عقل استعمال نہیں کرتی اور چاہتی ہے کہ

Mr Durrani has retired so can not be ordered to do any thing. He agreed to come as an advisor but owing to some differences left without discussing his issues with IK. It is therefore very difficult to bring Durrani back.
