--Welcome back dear friends. This is the start of our, Discover The Holy Quran Project. May Allah help us learn the Holy Quran and help us act upon the guidance we recieve from It. The first Surah of the Holy Quran is Surah Al-Fatiha. It is comprised of 7 verses. This surah is abouth Allah's guidance and stress the lordship and mercy of God. This Surah holds a very special place in Islam. Muslims recite it in every Rakat (unit) of daily Islamic prayer.
--Surah Al-Fatiha (The Opening)
1- Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;
2- Most Gracious, Most Merciful;
3- Master of the Day of Judgment.
4- Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.
5- Show us the straight way,
6- The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace,
7- those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.
Ameen.
What a beautiful Surah and what a beautiful way to start the Holy Quran. May Allah has his blessings upon us all and show us the straight path.
