Well for 20 years the media was given the power and responsibility. And time and time again it showed it is not mature enough to handle the responsibility hence the power is also being taken away.

In every country media is regulated. In USA, UK,Canada and France media can not start vicious campaign against the national interest. The whole cry is about money and greed. Theses Media houses running large on the side private businesses like private schools (Dunya),Bakery (gn),Property's,(24), Gold,(ARY), NGOs (GEO), ect,ect. All of these channel owners are involved in money laundering, and serving foreign agencies for their greed of money.

A country with 70% illiteracy rate does' not need over hundred channels. IT will mislead these people and brainwash them badly.
