In our country every one has become an analyst.Being a journalist doesn,t mean u hv automatically become an intellectual.Most of the People, analysing the situation of war n terrorism on our media channels will only have the qualification of reporting n now present n sell themselves as "senior Analysts".Only a few will have proper academic or professional background.U must at least have a masters or Ph.D degree in defence studies,strategic studies,criminology,International relations etc or should have served as a diplomat,in military or on crucial posts in local or foreign entities to be able to analyse these things rightly.Here,in pak,it,s easy start ur career as a field reporter n after 2 or 3 years ur own channels will promote u as "senoir analyst".What a pity?
