I think they knew why this happened..Gov is just wait and see position..waiting for the right time..If gov order to stop open market to sell $$$ for few days.what will happen??China is very low currency against $$..how they still be a giant economy??Some economist can tell the real thing..If state Bank Governer doing this wrongly or some purpose..then he should be removed or question...

The economy was already bankrupt before PTI took power. There were massive trade and fiscal deficits. The reserves were empty. 95$B loans were taken too keep the Rs. Artificially high. The exports are a paltry 25B$. There was no direct tax collection and the mafias looted the money and sent it abroad.

PTI govt is trying the stabilize the economy by recovering the looted wealth and start direct tax collection. After Jun 30th, once the tax revenue start to increase, things will start to improve. PM Khan said that 2 years will be tough but the good times are coming IA.

Here is a fact:

Singapore exports =$440B
1 USD = 1.3 SD$

Pakistan exports = $25B and have not grown in 10 years.

We have to increase our exports if we expect our currency to be strong.
