Whether music should be the part of this site?

Sorry to say most of these scholors are wahabies(nr1 and 2kind). And most of us are not, we are sunnis and shias. So we do not follow them in everything. Our scholors has allowed many type of music such as qwali and other kind of music(wich is not about sex and abusive language).
Our scolors has also based there views on hadith.
You follow yours we follow ours, but together we fight for better Pakistan.

well its controversial whether or not music is allowed in ISLAM...as far as this site is concerned, only national songs and satiric songs such as in HUM SAB UMEED SE HEN can be included...if the questuon is about general music, i say NO...in the end, thanks to all the members who have shared very informative video clips and sites...

It is not a clear instruction from Islamic culture and from above posts and explanations that Music is "HARAM" but defined as good or bad so if the music is against the ethics or normal culture, should be disallowed.

I have one question for all of the learned members of this forum that whether "POLITICS" is "HALAL" or "HARAM" as per Islamic Shariat?

Islam is not what you think. Islam is a universal religion and set some basic rules for a prosperous and healthy society for human living but we labelled it as per our thoughts and ideas and approach of our mind.

Some scholars allow it and some dont. Many sunnies and shias allow it while most of the wahabies dont allow it. So you can not say Islam dont allow it.

Even who allow it, they dont allow the kind of music which is played nowadays. They only say that music is not haram. So you can listen patriotic songs, not the songs like dupatta mera malmal da. They are defintely not allowed.
