When Pakistan tried to become a superpower

Karachi's gdp alone is higher than all those central asian countries combined (excluding Kazakhstan). Making those countries part of a greater Pakistan would be a greater liability.

Just goes to show all our neighbours on the east and west are just ass! Hence this time round we are looking northwards

Well that's only because the port is there hence all the tax on imports collected is counted in it, otherwise that statement really doesn't ring true.

As for the rest, I've been in my senses since the 80s and Pakistan was never doing well economically since that time and progressively got worse and worse. I disagree with the video that it was looking to become a superpower or even a regional powerhouse. Those pipelines were no different than what is CPEC today only difference is China has the funds to complete it where are we are paying them.

We would have most likely been a very powerful country if not a superpower had it not been for the USSR invasion of Afghanistan. Before that in the 1960's and 1970's Pak was a very hip place. Although we helped in breaking the USSR the price paid for that period was very high. Religious zealots took over what was once a very progressive and advanced country. To progress we have to demilitarise the thinking of our people.

We will pick up from where we left off soon. Zia Ul Haq's fundamentalism didn't help either but societies almost always tend to move forward. One day Pakistanis will stand up to this religious extremism and tyranny and say enough is enough.

We can see the feminism movements in US, the Black Rights Movements and now the BLM movements. Radical change in society comes from public not from governments.

We do not need to be super power. We shall focus only our people.

To continue our development the whole region has to progress together like Europe. This can not happen until the Kashmir quagmire is sorted one way or another. Zia at the time had reasons to do what he did due to the USSR sitting next door threatening to invade Pak. America also must leave Afghanistan now, they have no reason to be there anymore. We need to look in to why a society becomes extreme, then it was the USSR and now the Americans sitting next door. Like it or not what happens in Afghanistan equally effects us too.

No ...dont agree..you need to orrect your facts....the script is too flawed and lack true sense of reality...seems its prepared by some Indian...you idea about pashtuns is completely wrong and misleading...as far as trade deals are concerned those were normal, and has nothing to do being super power...bcz super power is only rest with Allah...on the contrary it is India that has such plans for expansion, land grabbing and occupying, Srilanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, jammu n Kashmir, Nagaland etc... to converge itself as a grater hindu country (while inreality India was never a country, there was an indian region consisting of hundreds of independent states ruled by various ethnicity and religious rulers)...India has already forcibly occupied GouA (christian state), Jammu and Kashmir, Hyderabad and gujrat (muslim states) ...and continue doig state terrorism in neighboring countries for its malicious motives...As far as pashtuns are concerned watch clipping when a rumor eared that afghan forces attacked in Pak-Afghan border near para chanar...all Pakistani pashtun (in chanar)were on streets marching toward border for with their weapon to fights for Pakistan side by side with Pak -army... Afghans are our brothers but this country is based on ethnicity....while Pakistani love Pakistan bcz it was created in Name of Allah...Pakistan ka matlab kya...la ilaha illalAllah..

These movements need people ..people who are well informed to raise up for their rights.. what we desperately need first is education and i dont mean the mindless trolls we are producing now i mean proper education system .. and it will take about a few decades to inflict proper change .. change is never over night even the black rights movement took a while to bring about the change in law but it took decades for black people to actually have a few rights .. change is a slow process.. and unfortunately pakistani people are always into short cuts lol

You have absolutely no idea how much the average Afgahni hates Pakistan and Pakistanis. And how they kiss Indian ass. Indians are treated like royalty in Afghanistan and when they find out you are a Pakistani, seeday mou baat nahi kerte.

SO yeah fuck afghanis and fuck afghanistan!
