The gist is that I got was that the Agency won't accept it's failure but will blame others as enemies, paid agents , blah blah blah.
And you think that this US intelligence officer spoke the truth? I see this as a childish statement from an apparently annoyed officer. Annoyed because US had failed in Afghanistan. If this intelligence officer thought everyone in Pakistan was purchasable then why they couldn't win this war?
US must not forget its history, there was a time when Americans were poor under the British, and at that time they were trading their mothers and sisters to get other commodities.

What I do care is that yes, we have put up a sign "Open for Sale" & "Vaccancy" after every 5-10 years.
Any country with 'this' economic situation would be 'open for sale'. Poverty is a bad thing. We are a poor nation, and are still struggling. However you don't know the future. Maybe God has made a good future for us.
It was stated they will sell their mothers for $100 before. This is not a new phenomemon which goes back to the 90s publicly. Does not bother me because Pakistanis are like that or else our condition would be different.
It was 'stated' by the same Americans, and what Americans say may not always be true. These people use swear words for even Jesus Christ and God. It's not important what they call us, we refuse to accept their judgment on us.
If it makes you happy, but there a few famous cases come to mind. Don't forget Mushy, who proudly wrote (confessed) in his book as well.

So you should stop embracing the words of that US intelligence officer as it was based on ignorance, racism and fake pride. Sell outs exist in all nations.
I know plenty of cases. Swallow the nationalisitic pride, we are like this and they've been running this Country since it's birth whether they are in uniform or not is not important.
Figure out why and all will be clear.
