If u look at the history, it’s very easy to find opportunistic people (who will sell their mother) in the Indian sub continent. No wonder so many rulers came and ruled over India for centuries, because u can always find someone to fight your battles and betray the previous ruler. I am sure the intelligence agencies on both sides of the continent plus other larger ones understand that.
Even though similar in nature, Indians tend to be a little more coward in nature than Pakistanis (likely due to religious beliefs). This explains why Indians take side of any super power that attacks Afghanistan.
