What would you do if you found a bag filled with 3kg of diamonds worth millions? You might have thought twice about returning it, unlike one honest tourist from China.
According to Shenzhen daily, Chinese tourist Fu Zhuli was at recent jewellery fair in Hong Kong when she decided to take an ice-cream break.
While at a cafe, she noted that two men had left their table without a black bag which they had left at the foot of their table.
She picked up the bag and found that it contained thousands of soybean-sized diamonds estimated to be worth some HK$250,000,000, about $40,000,000 (RM 103,000,000). In all, the bag weight about 3kg.
After waiting at the table 'guarding' the bag for two hours, one of the men came running back into the caf, with his shirt soaked in sweat and his face pale from exertion.
After chastising him for leaving behind something so valuable, she handed the bag back to him.
Although she says many of her friends later chided her for not keeping the bag for herself, she maintains that she never thought of keeping it for herself, as her husband works in the Police and told her to always return lost items.
