Why should we endorse this action of Mirwaiz when Quaid-e-Azam promised freedom of religion and faith in Pakistan. Why should we prefer something else for others? Jinnah wanted to show Islam as a Deen which has become just another religion all thanks to Mullahs and Kings during the past many centuries.
I don't know if it's related but here's something interesting too.

First of all I never said anything about bulle shah neither I named a specific person I dont know where did you get it from. I have pointed out some concepts of Sufis which are not from Islam and Wahdatul Wajood is one of such concepts and is deep rooted among most Sufis. This idea was mainly advocated by ibne arabi who was the Big Sheikh of Sufis. This wahdatul wajood is the same concept of God incarnation of Hinduism. Now if bulle shah doest have it in his peoptry that is very good, he may be a good Muslim then.

No he doesn't have any of the stuff you mentioned in his poetry. Your agreement with Pakpunjabi and disagreement with modern fakir led me to believe that you may have something against the Philosophy of Bulleh Shah, there is nothing wrong even if you did I just want to know what it is. Now we don't have argument.

I have read the first five chapters I have a Quran in my library.

But for now back up your allegations against Bulleh Shah by quoting from his poetry not his life story. A man should be able to back up what he says.

Thats the Paradox .

People prefer to kill than to except that they were WRONG.

Brother, I am not here to fight with you either but rather talk about points and present to you the right opinion of the majority of the scholars. Its needless to mention that the majority of the Muslims today follow the true path of the Ahle Sunnah wal Jamaah which includes the most major and densely populated countries of Turkey, Pakistan, India, Indonesia, malaysia, muslim regions of the caucuses, north africa and so on and so forth. It is quiet obvious because my Akka pbuh mentioned that a "Jamaah" or Majority will ALWAYS be on the right Path and they are those who follow the example of the Sahabah. Its needless for me to mention if Hazrat ALi ra was a sahabi and in fact what rank he holds by being as part of the Ahle Bait then following him is definitely a path to salvation and indeed the path of the Ahle sunnah wal Jamaah !

One can ABSOLUTELY NOT Discredit his Actions by calling them as "one of" without looking at the practice of my Akka pbuuh and other sahabis, tabaeen's and tabatabaeen's. So if Hazrat ali ra visited the grave and HUGGED it an rubbed his face on it then that definitely legitimizes that action for Me and the Majority of the Muslims as Hazrat Ali ra who was a Beloved of my Beloved Prophet pbuh and hence my beloved as well did something, then that action is definitely approved for me as per the scholars in Majority.

Now as far the hadith you have mentioned I can see where the problem is . Brother in the times of the Hadith you mentioned most of the Graves during the time of the early muslims were that of the Makkan Pagans, Christians and Jews and naturally my Akka pbuh stopped Muslims whose relatives were PAGANS, Christians and Jews from visiting there GRAVES.

Because keep in mind most of the muslims of that time were converts and people had entire families with pagan relatives. Which is where the hadith you mentioned come in.

Why would one visit a pagan or christian grave when you know they are being tormented ? - It doesnt make any sense. But people who are pious and have a rank with Allah swt, they are alive in their graves.

Classic example is Prophet Musa pbuh. He was spotted as Praying in His Grave when my Akka pbuh cruised by His grave on Buraq.--- SubhanAllah wat a journey that was and how beautiful is Allah subhana Wa Tallah that he relayed this message to us through my Akka pbuh.

Now to give you some more clout lets check some more ahadith and see what my Akka pbuh and some other sahabis did regarding grave visitations. Now these are Muslims visiting Muslims

Here now these are some ahadith about my Akka pbuh praying by the graves :

(32) It is in Hadith - Narrated Ibn Abbas (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ). A person died and Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) used to visit him. He died at night and (the people) buried him at night. In the morning they informed the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم)(about his death). He said, "What prevented you from informing me?" They replied, "It was night and it was a dark night and so we disliked to trouble you." The Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) went to his Grave and offered the (funeral) prayer. (Bukhari Book #23, Hadith #339)

(33) It is in Hadith - Narrated Anas bin Malik (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ): We were (in the funeral procession) of one of the daughters of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) and he (Prophet - صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) was sitting by the side of the Grave... (part of the Hadith) (Bukhari - Book #23, Hadith #374).

(34) It is in Hadith - Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہا) narrates that: "When Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) used to stay with her, in the last part of the night he used to go to the graveyard of Madinah (Muslim, Mishkat page 154)

(35) It is in Hadith - Muhammad bin Nu'man (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) narrates that Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) said: "Whoever visits his parents' graves or visits one of their graves every Friday, then he will be forgiven and will be written as being one of the pious" (Mishkat page 154).

Brother you mentioned they are dead here ...this will make you happy we should even shroud them well because the Dead visit one another :)

36) It is in Hadith - Jabir b. 'Abdullah (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) narrates: Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) said ' When any one of you shrouds his brother, he should shroud him well (part of Hadith). (Sahih Muslim - Book #004, Hadith #2058) .

(37) It is in Hadith - Abu Qatada (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) narrates that Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) said: "When you are a custodian of any dead, give them a fine shroud because they (the dead believers) visit one another place and meet one another (Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Baihaqi).

Now brother this next mention is for those people who follow a particular maslak lets see what a scholar of that Maslak says about this. This is a Hadith mentioned by Mohammed Ibn Abdul Wahab from Ibn Kathir.

It is in Hadith - Ibn Abd al-Wahab an-Najdi at-Tamimi has mentioned this Hadith in his book "Ahkam Tamanni al-Mawt". A young boy used to do (a lot) of prayers in Masjid, however one woman fell in love with him and she started to attract him towards herself until one day he got persuaded and came to her house, but he recalled this Quranic verse: { Lo! those who ward off (evil), when a glamor from the devil troubles them, they do but remember (Allah's - سبحانہ و تعا لی guidance) and behold them seers**, he fainted right over there, when he recovered he remembered the verse again and fainted once again but this time he passed away. After his death Umar (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) met his father being saddened at his death, (the boy) was buried during night, Umar (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) took his companions along and visited his grave, he prayed there and Called the Boy saying: Whosoever feared to stand in front of his Lord then there are 2 gardens for him! Voice came from the grave O'Omar (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) Allah ( سبحانہ و تعا لی ) has granted me both the gardens. (Tafseer Ibn Kathir under verse 7-201).

You see again this is involving Hazrat Umar Ra...If the pious were dead would Hazrat Umar Ra ..gone to the Grave ?..Better yet would he have asked those questions ??..So what does this tell you now ! ...Are these all one of Actions ???:)

So from the Above hadith and quotes it IS Established that visiting or praying by the graves of the Pious Awliya Allah is a tradition of the Sahabah and hence a legitimate practice and I will leave you with a quote from the Quran with supplements all that I have mentioned.

(Meaning - Your guardian (or solver of grievances) can only be Allah ( سبحانہ و تعا لی ) and His Messenger ( صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم ) and those who believe, who establish Salah, and pay Zakat and bow down (in prayer) (Al-Maeda - 55) ( Pickthal translation).
The above verse clearly establishes that Allah ( سبحانہ و تعا لی ) is the Guardian and solver of grievances of people. In addition, Prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) is also the guardian and solver of grievances of people in the sense that Allah ( سبحانہ و تعا لی ) listens to his prayers more than anyone else. Similarly, Sahabah (رضئ اللھ تعالی عنہم اجمعین ) and Awliya Allah are also guardians and solvers of grievances of people in the sense that their Dua is answered faster than the Dua of sinful Muslims.

The above Quranic verse and Ahadith and sayings clearly establish the authenticity of Isteghatha (asking for help) and Tawassul (Mediation) of Prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم), Sahabah (رضئ اللھ تعالی عنہم اجمعین ) and Awliya Allah, during their lives and after their deaths
Sahih Al-Bukhair Volume 1, Book 8, Hadith # 419
Narrated 'Aisha (RAA) Um Habiba (RAA) and Um Salama (RAA) mentioned about a church they had seen in Ethiopia in which there were pictures. They told the Prophet (SAW) about it, on which he said, "If any religious man dies amongst those people they would build a place of worship at his grave and make these pictures in it. They will be the worst creature in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection."

Sahih Muslim Book 4, Hadith # 2116
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah (RAA) Rasulullah (SAW) forbade that the graves should be plastered, or they be used as sitting places (for the people), or a building should be built over them.

Sahih Al-Bkhari Volume 1, Book 8, Hadith # 427
Narrated 'Aisha (RAA) and 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas (RAA) When the last moment of the life of Allah's Apostle (SAW) came he started putting his 'Khamisa' on his face and when he felt hot and short of breath he took it off his face and said, "May Allah curse the Jews and Christians for they built the places of worship at the graves of their Prophets." The Prophet (SAW) was warning (Muslims) of what those had done.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Hadith # 428
Narrated Abu Huraira (RAA) Rasulullah (SAW) said, "May Allah's curse be on the Jews for they built the places of worship at the graves of their Prophets."

Sahih Muslim Book 4, Number 1083
Narrated Jundub ibn Abdullah (RAA) "I heard from the Apostle of Allah (SAW) five days before his death and he said: I stand acquitted before Allah that I took anyone of you as friend, for Allah has taken me as His friend, as he took Ibrahim as His friend. Had I taken any one of my Ummah as a friend, I would have taken AbuBakr as a friend. Beware of those who preceded you and used to take the graves of their prophets and righteous men as places of worship, but you must not take graves as mosques;I forbid you to do that.

Sahih Muslim Book 4, Hadith # 2121
Narrated AbuMarthad al-Ghanawi (RAA) Allah's Messenger (SAW) said: Do not sit on the graves and do not pray facing towards them.
