We expected Pakistan to be an Islamic state but...Ahmad Deedat

This video is from 1990s apparently. Ahmad Deedat doesn't need any introduction, he did debates with Christian missionaries and was a teacher of the world famous Dr Zakir Naik. He gives his thoughts on Pakistan and how it progressed. I wonder if he was alive, what would he be thinking about current Pakistan.

May Allah grant him jannat ul firdous, Ameen.

Asslam-u-Alaikum,

I've seen this interview and he was the real man mujahid and the decision he made was very wise, if he were in Pakistan definitely he would never given such chance to speak openly and opened the eyes of many Christians about their wrong belief. I perssonaly met a brother from Trinidad who became Muslim by listening Ahmeed Deedat's speeches.

Till date Christian missionaries are working in Pakistan and our very dear Muslims Brothers and Sisters are supporting them to reach the potential people who will convert to Christian, these missionaries support those poor people with money and betray them and convert them to Christian.

As Ahmed Deedat said there are very few Muslims working with their personal funds or some of GOD fearing businessmen supporting them in the way of deen. We all need to atleast spend our time or money in the way of Allah.

My dear brothers and sisters in Islam, Remember its not Allah who needs us its us who need Allah for everything, if we don't put any efforts then Allah will use someone else so better do something before someone else takes the benefit.

Regards,

Unfortunately he died before Imran Khan became PM of Pakistan, otherwise he would have been very happy to see today's Pakistan which is a true copy of Riasat_e_,Madina.

Asslam-u-Alaikum,

Bhai first of all Riasat-e-Madinah was first Islamic Riasat not the Rifi-e-Riasat. Rest there were some major qualities of Riasat-e-Madinah.

  • Interest (Sood) was banned forbidden
  • Liquor, Alcohol (Sharab) or any narcotics was forbidden
  • Not any kind of Tax was imposed on Muslims, hence governments was helping poor
  • No Nach Gana was allowed in Riasat-e-Madinah

These are very few qualities of Riasat-e-Madinah, please tell Imran Khan to implement atleast above mentioned qualities of Riasa-e-Madinah.

Regards,

I found out his videos on YouTube recommendations years ago and was blown away how logically he debated and challenged the famous Christian evangelists and televangelists of his time. He increased my own knowledge of Islam and different religions such as Christianity and Hinduism.

Then learned Zakir Naik was inspired and learned from him.

What's truly amazing is he didn't have formal education yet his style of debate and knowledge of topics exceeds many Muslims today. I love him.

You're right, he probably wouldn't have been allowed and called an extremists or intolerant of other religions. Or abused like many other scholars are today.

Ah nice. I was born in 88 so this interview probably happened before i even existed. Did you like Pakistan then or now? Or were you too little to remember? :)

I imagine that time to be great times of Pakistan but Ahmad Deedat paints a different picture for me as he doesn't seem to be very happy with it islamically.

Nowadays it's much worse than it was at that time i imagine. Everyone has become Westernised and follows western ideals.

You can tell how much he loved Islam and preaching/tableegh. His only reason for not liking Pakistan is because it didn't become the Islamic state that people thought it would. He didn't care for economic progress.

Stupid YouTube just showed me this video to remind me of him and i had to share ?

Bhai I watched all debates of Ahmed Deedat along with his standalone speeches, I was amazed that in all his debates and speeches he never repeated the points which he disclosed in earlier debate or speeches. He was full of surprises but was a Mujahid too May Allah Forgive all his unknown sins Ameen.

I was in South Africa when passed away, my bad-luck I didn't know this mujahid at that time otherwise I would have joined his funeral.

I would suggest you to see Ahmed Deedat debate with Jimmy Swaggart. Jimmy Swaggart was millionaire Christian evangelist and Ahmed Deedat was just a normal man but when the Mujahid of Allah stand on front of a King then Allah helps his Mujahid. Really Jimmy had no answer to Ahmed Deedat. Better you watch this available on youtube.

I Was in my teen when I saw him on Pakistan TV. Karachi was awesome those days. It is awful now :)
By the way, I have had the pleasure of attending Ahmed Deedats speech when he came to Sydney Town Hall in the early 90s.I was in the front row so I have seen him at a very close distance.

Right! Anis Shorrosh is just a clumsy clown I've seen one of his clip where he debated with Jamal Badawi. On guy from audience asked him to recite the 2 or 3 Ayats of Surat At-Talaq and he couldn't even he calls himself Arab.

Anyhow it certainly is blessing from Allah on those see such Mujahid of Allah with their eyes and feel their presence. May Allah bestow upon his mercy on us to join these Mujahids.

Asslam-u-Alaikum,

Bhai Apology for my following comment.
But for me Zardari, Nawaz and Imran all are standing in same Q, reason behind is that Imran is support by same people who supported Nazaz and Zardari and after knowing everything if still Imran takes their support for coming into Power then he is no better than them.

I don't support imran Khan due to following.
  • He promote Music and Mixing Male and Female
  • His government is promoting Interest (Sood, Rebah) and Allah tells us in Qur'an a person who deals with Interest as if he is announcing War against Allah. How can i do war against Allah...... May Allah forgive me.
  • Under his government Liquor, Sharab is not forbidden.
  • Under his government Salah is not implemented by government.
atleast he needs to do above as Muslim emperor.

Regards,
