ISLAMABAD: The US has announced to release $1.1 billion for Pakistan after reopening of NATO supply routes into Afghanistan.
According to Pentagon spokesman Navy Captain John Kirby, the amount would be released very soon.The withheld dollars are part of the U.S. Coalition Support Fund to reimburse Pakistan for its support of U.S. counter- insurgency operations. SAMAA
