Unexpected Laziness from Moderators

This is too much. I know mods have a tough job to do, but that is what they are meant for, right??? You are not able control the use of slang language on this forum. Yesterday, I reported a post from a member named "Khurasan" who had used terrible language... His post was deleted by @Mehrushka. Good job..

BUT when you see such a post from a member why dont you ban him immediately???

Why cant you make zero tolerance policy against slang language??? Is it not supposed to be a family forum???

ok fine. you deleted his post but cant you expect more of such posts from him?? Can't you atleast spend some time to check his profile?? Because he used the smae language again. Dont believe me?? Check yourself...

This is just one example. I really respect the mods but this thing really made me very angry...:angry_smile::angry_smile::angry_smile:

PLEASE:

Announce zero tolerance policy against slang or abusive language.
Ban the person on first reported post, delete his complete profile and posts (also blacklist his IP).

I think for mods sometime its difficult to read every single comment posted. Its duty of all members to report the post to mods with reasons by clicking the yellow icon ! on the right bottom side of the post

Everytime I see such a post, I try to report. But my point is, if such posts come from same members again and again, then what to do?? Isn't it best in this scenario that first inform all the members that abusive language will not be tolerated even in the very first post??? And the person should be banned immediately???
There are female members on this forum also many who only visit as guests.. So, this thing is not bearable at all.

Unfortunately I have seen a decline in moderator ship standards over a period of time. They have become too lenient , abusive and vulgar marks are tolerated , I absolutely agree such members should be banned .

brother,being a moderator i agree what you have said but there are some other reasons which we always have to consider. we have tried to ban users immediately but later on we saw that those members come out with new ids and start more vulgar language then before. so first as other member said that try to report those posts asap so an online moderator can take notice of that thread and take appropriate action immediately, secondly we warn those members on first step after deleting their posts but if users don't take it serious we put them in queue so no one can see thier posts until verified by a mod. and at the end if we don't have any other option to stop these kind of posts then we ban them for certain period of time like 3 days 1 week or 2 week etc.
there is zero tolerance on abusive language but this is true that as a nation we are frustrated cz of current state of our country and every one want to raise their voice against this corrupt culture and sometimes this frustration comes out in shape of vulgarity. i apologize that we couldn't take immediate action on some posts. hope your co-operation will be continue in future. we need members like you who are working with us to make this forum clean and friendly for every one.

Jo bhi ghalat aur abusive language use karay usay foran warn ya ban karna chahiye chahe kisi bhi party se ho kyon ke is ka party ko koe faeda nahi ulta nuksan hi hai. Lekin ye bhi sach hai ke jo dosron ko provoke karte hain kabhi zatiyat per kabhi kisi aur issue per unko bhi apne gareban main zaror jhankna chahiye. kiya khayal hai?(hmm)

Jazak Allah Khair for your input.
We have always asked our members to Report such Abusive language by reporting such posts using “Report Post” method.

There is a procedure set for such actions.
1: Post is reported.
2: The MOD online takes the action.
3: Comments are noted as what action was taken, “post edited” or “post delete”
4: If the post is highly offensive the “Infractions/warning” are issued for the abusing member.
5: We have Zero tolerance for any Vulgar and abusive remarks about Members family.
6: We have set a time frame for how may days the offending member will be ban for what offense.
7: All posts from those short time banned members are moderated.
8: Some member in this class will go in queue and their posts or threads will be moderated as long as it takes.
9: The complete BAN is a last resort, but we have taken those actions many times.

Please rest assured that whole team of MODERATORS are there to do fair and just decision.
Frequently we do consult Admins and each other for what type of action is needed.

Please help us make this Forum a Best family Forum.

First of all, thanks for paying attention to the matter. I agree with everything you say but not with the red part. What ever sort of frustration one has, it does not allow him to use such a language. Using an abusive language can not be justified by saying that well! I was frustrated and said this out of anger.. It rather shows ones' character and bad moral behavior (bad ikhlaqi). If you find any abusive language from me even against zardari, ban me immediately. And you cant even imagine how much I hate him.
I saw my wife a few days ago visiting siasat.pk on her laptop. I told her its better to avoid this site. She asked me why and I could not tell her why.. So, that is why I am much concerned.

Still I appreciate what you guys have been doing. Only wanted to emphasize more on this important issue.

Brother You are 100% right but let me explain that I wasn't justifying abusive language with frustration, it is one of the reason that why a person start abusing opponents.. the other reason is young blood, control on anger is a God gifted thing , unfortunately as a nation we have a bit lack of this quality. for example if you will push someone from behind unconsciously, the person will straightaway say andha hay kia dekh kr nahi chal sakty. if same thing happens in other country like any European or western country the same person will say sorry are you ok!! this is the difference,Are we mature enough as a nation... my answer is No we are not..try pages of Facebook every other person is abusing opponents like kids, difference of opinion in our society make yourself enemies of each other...but it doesn't happen in other countries .. i think you understand what i said..this is my personal experience you can try when you will visit Pakistan next time..:)

Please explain what do you mean by provocation here, you people seems to get provoked by almost every thing. You are pointing a finger towards us while the rest of your fingers are pointed directly towards, you know whom.

Sigma was blocked for using foul language, but the other persons who were equally responsible are still roaming freely.

If the mods in any forum don't like any party they should jump in the that forum in their individual capacity and directly comment against them, I don't see any harm or unreasonability in that, but if you have an attitude to let people get trolled and made fun of and etc, while you get some petty fun and enjoyment out of it, it is quite sad. Don't they know of the hundred and thousands of web sites in which there are plenty of some very good fun stuff.
