Canadian long distance calling cards
The topic of long distance calling cards is about individuals in emergency or normally requiring some medium or calling method to contact overseas abroad via calling cards.
But when we analyze or scrutinized way to view the details of calling cards, we see a regular pattern of rip offs to wasted individuals purchase that can amount to between $10 calling card or less.
The individual purchases these cards hoping to hear some loved one or whatever reasons it may be.
First one has to buy the relevant card itself, which means to go to local grocery store. Second there is no warning or signal given as to expiration date of the card ?
By now the individual hopes after making first telephone long distance call, to make second call likewise. But apparently, some time period has lapsed. The individual than calls the support number to inquire therefore wasting resources in customer support over the phone sometimes by 30 minutes at a given time!
When and if the support answer during if called during working hours, the answer given "card expired"! What does this means? The best way to put it & your money used for long distance use (by monopolistic company owner) give us $3 for every $1 used to make the call simply.
Its very clever way to rip anyone off if they're unaware of the general practices implied without knowing outcomes.
The question arises once individual purchases the calling card he has 30 minutes to use the service or else time expired issues to dealt with.
Now the individuals not only lost his hard earned money wasted plus time it took from purchasing the useless card with rip off fees. To wasted effort in combined calling to dialing etc.
Why don't these bhaniyas make the card a bit expensive without the expiration problems & let the individual utilize whole $ value until $ runs out??
See the problem or big picture its basically good for only one lousy telephone long distance call !
Not many people who come over to Canada/ U.K. own a home or luxury of landline & we know the expensive rates of mobile carriers.
Why don't they make the calling card worked until the money runs out/ finished as I used to in another country, well off country, not to name ? Angry customer simply.
