Good phrases: Good Taliban is only a dead Taliban (USA). Taliban are sitting in Pakistan and Pakistan want USA to negotiate with Taliban (Pakistan). There is trust deficit in Gen Prviz Ashfaq Kiani and Hamid Karzai (Ahmed Rasheed). Pakistani Policy - influenced by circumstances so there is no direction basically. Its all about circumstances. Its not that policy is flexible its about directionless policy which cause radicalization in Pakistan.

excellent program! i always love how neutral najam sethi is in his analysis! ahmed rashed gave some very insight into afghanistan! i too do not see the US leaving afghanistan anytime soon like the so called intellects zaid hamid and hamid gul claim !! i also agree that saudia arab has distanced itself from taliban due to its alqaeda links!
it will be interesting to see how US, Pakistan, Saudia, Iran and India come to table to talk about afghanistan's future!

amazing program. Its funny to see that we have people like Ahmed Rasheed who are basically "analysts" and people like Rehman Malik, Babar Awan who are our leaders. sad .. so sad !!!
