Ties with Muslim world depend on US behaviour, that's right but does he really mean it or it's just another attempt/tactic to win so called Muslim hearts and minds.

"No amount of public relations will establish credibility of the United States if American behaviour overseas is perceived as arrogant, uncaring or insulting, the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff has said in a critique of the governments efforts at strategic communication with the Muslim world, to put it simply, we need to worry a lot less about how to communicate our actions and much more about what our actions communicate".

"I would argue that most strategic communication problems are not communication problems at all,They are policy and execution problems. Each time we fail to live up to our values or dont follow up on a promise, we look more and more like the arrogant Americans the enemy claims we are"

BTW WHO IS HE REFERRING The ENEMY, AL QAEDA OR MUSLIM WORLD?? am confused :ugeek: :ugeek:

American messages to counter extremist information campaigns lack credibility because we havent invested enough in building trust and relationships and we havent always delivered on promises, he said, that's so true US can never be trusted and it has been proved repeatedly in the past, they have never been sincere in improving relationships with muslims or caring about muslims, they have fudged up the muslim world and successfully created anti-muslim sentiments in western world by CNN, FOX....(ALL JEWISH CONTROLLED MEDIA), all they care about is saving their arses which are being kicked in afghanistan so it's an intelligence tactics to pass such speeches. PROVE BY ACTIONS NOT WORDS, GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR ARSES AND BE SINCERE IN SOLVING PALESTINIAN, KASHMIR dispute, stop arming our enemies and telling us that you are our friends when clearly we have evidence against CIA, Mosad actively fuelling unrest in fata and balochistan (with ofcourse RAW's help) by committing terrorist activities.

Admiral Mullen did not single out specific government communications programmes for criticism, but bemoaned that there has been a certain arrogance to our strat comm efforts. that's so true

The Muslim community is a subtle world we dont fully and dont always attempt to understand, he wrote.

Only through a shared appreciation of the peoples culture, needs and hopes for the future can we hope ourselves to supplant the extremist narrative. First sensible thing he said.
