Pardon me for being a little out of touch with the news in the last year or so.

I was just going through an old news and that said that on 16th may 2016 PM said on the floor of house that the UK flats were bought from the money obtained by selling the jeddah mills. Honestly I didn' t know that he said this let alone on the floor of the house. Now the Qatari Prince's letter totally contradicts with the statement made by the PM on 16th of may.

Only one of the statement can be right , PM must address this in Parliament and also in front of nation on TV that why did he tell a lie to us.

I refuse to endorse any lies only because i support any particular party , I need to know the truth.

Actually, one needs to read the exact text of PM's speech (which has been reproduced in several threads on this very forum), to realize that there is legally no discrepancy.

PM said in his speech that the money from sale of Jeddah Steel Mill in 2005 as well as that from earlier sale of Dubai Mill, was used to purchase London flats.

The Qatari Sheikh in his affidavit has said that Mian Sharif had invested a part of proceeds from Dubai Mill in his business in 1980. In 2006, Hussain Nawaz closed out this investment and after settling the net dues London flats were transferred to him.

Hussain Nawaz's counselor has explained that this settlement involved more payment to Qatari Sheikh as these flats were worth more than Mian Sharif's investment. This additional payment came from proceeds of Jeddah Steel Mill sale.

So legally speaking, the PM was correct in what he said in his speech. The modus operandi and details of this purchase were explained in more detail through Hussain Nawaz's submissions in the court which include letter from Qatari Sheikh.

At least there is no apparent contradiction here. Now it is up to the court to judge the veracity of all these documents.

بھائی اپنی جائیداد کے بارے میں کوئی کیسے جھوٹ بول سکتا ہے؟ آپ کی اپنی جائیداد ہے سب سے بہتر آپ کو پتا ہونا چاہیے کہ کہاں سے آئی؟ اپنی ہی "کمائی ہوئی" جائیداد کے بارے میں جھوٹ بولا پورے خاندان نے اور آپ فرما رہے ہیں کہ اس میں کوئی برائی نہیں ہے. یہ کوئی باتوں باتوں میں ذکر کرتے ہوئے معاملہ آگے پیچھے نہیں ہوا. باقاعدہ وقت دیا گیا کہ بتائیے جائیداد کیسے بنائی؟ پھر بھی جھوٹ بولا. کورٹ کو چھوڑیں آپ اپنی گواہی دیں کہ پورے خاندان نے جھوٹ بولا یا نہیں؟
