VIP culture eradication, next to impossible in Pakistan
Corruption may be checked, terrorism controlled, extremism reduced, but one vice which cannot be touched in Pakistan is the VIP culture which has become a part of our lives. Reason for this failure is because VIP culture directly benefits those who matter, whether in the the Armed forces, bureaucracy, judiciary, politicians or even religious leaders. The only Prime minister MK Junejo (God bless his soul) who tried to put his ministers and generals in Pak made cars was sent packing within no time. Even Imran Khan does not talk much about this vice because the high and mighty would have to sacrifice their (undue) privileges which is not acceptable to them and would create hurdles in the way of the later
