Nice idea , I think this company can also make electronic cars too ... Pakistan needs to make local ideas :) ... I see in EU lot of countries use electric cars and busses

I actually think its a bad idea, because electric vehicles are highly impractical and still not developed enough to compete with internal combustion vehicles or even come close. 100-150km range is manufacturer given in ideal conditions. With no weight and no ancillary electric being used. Load them up full, use the radio, headlights etc etc and you would be lucky to get 50kms and then not to mention the super long recharge times which is round 10-12 hrs for modern day consumer grade electric vehicles.

And to top it all off, they look very flimsy and doubt they will pass any real modern road safety standards

So in my view these electric vehicles are just a waste of time and money.

These rikshaws are actually cheaper than it's noisy cousins...

Hope they have planned it out that include fueling stations.

You mean recharging stations, first of I doubt they have but maybe if numbers increase they most probably will but still its not like a regular vehicle you just go in and in 5 mins top up your tank and be on your way. Just as an example how long does it take to charge your mobile from 0% to 100% and thats just a tiny battery, I am guessing these would require minimum 8 hrs to full charge. Thats mean you can only make one usefull run in a day rest of the working day is spent on recharging.

Hence I stated electric vehicle tech is impractical today. In the west they are doing their best to shove electric vehicles down consumers throats with tax rebates, toll exmptions free recharges etc etc and still not even 1% of vehicles are electric, because the consumer has rejected them for their expense and impracticality.

Oh and btw from what I know electric vehicle batteries have a limited life, around 5-7 years and then you need to replace them at great cost, seeing these are chinese I am betting these will need replacing with 3 years. Just like when you buy duplicate cheap chinese batteries for your phone they last hardly a few months if that, but original batteries last a couple of years and then they also need replacing
