Sony Xperia Z price revealed

The Sony Xperia Z is a water and dust resistant cream of the crop smartphone that still manages to deliver outstanding design, and while we knew almost everything about, one thing remained a mystery - its price. Now, UK retailer Clove has finally shed light on the Xperia Z price and it will be 440 with no value-added tax and 528 with VAT included.

Thats roughly in line with the price of the Samsung Galaxy Note II at the carrier, so if we were to judge by this similarity, the Xperia Z should carry a similar price to the new Note in the States and Europe as well.

The release date is once again confirmed to be March 1st, and then youd be able to purchase a black or white Xperia Z.

Hmm I am not fan of Samsung. Most of my friends has bad experience with Samsung. Within 1 year there is some issue with Samsung mobile.

I think Nexus 4 is good value for money check if you can find from play-store.

I think Nexus 4 is good value for money check if you can find from play-store.

Samsung makes the best phones/TVs, having said that, I would definitely go for Nexus 4 for 2 reasons Google flagship + best bang for the buck

s3 is a brilliant phone. but its time is almost over now as newer models are right around the corner. just wait for 2/3 months.

Samsung is now making good phones now a days but built quality wise HTC and Nokia are better

Samsung has not only been making good phones but their marketing strategy has been top notch too; exploiting competitors weaknesses and aggressively targeting different market segments. I agree build Quality wise Nokia and HTC are on par with Samsung if not above but their marketing has been lame especially HTC's. I think Sony will get a chance at Samsung in 2013 when they switch to Tizen but Sony must be careful as Motorola might not take the place.

I have been reading a lot about this phone lately. Wot i have read is that the build quality is as good as iPhone 5.. Plus water and dust proof is a very useful option and HDR Photo + Video is one of the most useful option. I hope to see it soon in my country at a right price ..
Plus Samsung design doesnt impress me at all. They are just repeating the same design..

I am getting samsung because i am not planning to use it for more than 8 months, i will sell it and get a new phone after that.
If I wanted to get a phone for more than a year, I was going for iphone 5.

HTC butterfly is only being sold in Japan, and in USA under the name Droid Dna. I cant get that in Canada.
