Referendum in Pakistan

Can any body tell me, if there is any rule in Pakistan to conduct a referendum on certain, if yes, what is the rule.

e.g. in Switzerland a referendum is conducted on an issue, if the issue originator is successful in getting 50,000 signature from the Swiss Citizens.

Then the referendum is conducted and the result become a rule.

I am interested to know, how such situations are dealt in Pakistan.

Here in Pakistan when our corrupt leaders... try to keep people busy so they cannot see or discuss the deeds and motives of their leader....they give calls for HAFTA A SAFAI, lighting of LAMPS, Kite Flying, and even they call people to have deedar of their images emerged on marble or krotton leafs and last but not least REFERENDUM ON 17 POINTS AT ONCE... and we are not short of such ******** who do this all whole heartedly... and you SAJJAD AHMAD tell me one more thing have you ever heard in your life about a referendum of 17 issues or points at once... kabhi kabhi mujha lagta hai jab humara mental level he ya hai tou kya dosh dena in leaders ko .. hum deserve kartey hain to be treated like DOGS or even worse.:angry_smile::angry_smile::angry_smile::angry_smile::angry_smile::angry_smile:

I neither I hate any party nor I have any love affair with mqm.
It was just a question in my mind, so I asked.
