Insafian, by nature, revolts against the current system of nepotism, corruption, lack of transparency and accountability in the society. He[1] stands by the egalitarian rule of law and meritocracy as a basic philosophy in and outside the party. He is that rare breed individuals who conceives the idea of changing Pakistan and is ambitious enough to give impossible a go. With this ethos setting the back drop of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf political movement, Khan Saab sets the stage for the next coming election. Pakistani youth from across the world identifies itself with this motto and align with Khan Saab with a view to contribute toward building a New Pakistan.

Parallel to the preparation for the forthcoming elections in pakistan, PTI UK is also heading for its first test of organising itself in a suitable structure through a democratic process of elections. A party whose leader aims to reorganise the entire structure of the country, its foriegn policies, its economic set up and ethical fabric of the society will have to start the change from with in. It appears to be tough time for the Khan saab leutenant in the forthcoming days to give that message that the change we are going to begin is also incorporated and rooted with in ourselves. This is where the test of so much cherished philosophy and ideology begins which other parties lack. The Question is How the reorganisation takes place?

Insafians are rare class of alpha individuals who are disillusioned by the family based politics of PPP and PML-N. The hardest task is to mobilise and organise this largely scattered group of individuals in the society and the only way to keep it together is by way of a tight knittedstructure. If ideology brings them on this platform than structure keeps them from disintegration and a proper strucuture is indespensable for governance.(2) The structure, offcourse, has to abide by the principles of fairness in coming together. The principles of Accountability, transparency and Disclosure can only be incorporated among organised group of people. A loose structure may give a perception of authoritarian regime, which is so commonly criticised in appointment of international coordinators in other parties. Lack of cohesion among members may also disillusion the party members and particularly favour individuals with autocratic mindset. Empowerment of members also cannot be gauranteed without the organised structure.

It is also extremely important that an individual with the right calibre is chosen to lead. Somebody who is able to face the CNN and BBC in the comming days. This is not important only for dealing with the opponents of the party in media, setting targets and future planning but it is also highly important to keep party members motivated. Personal relationship with the Khan Saab is no more the sole qualification required to handle the international office. Those who boast the personal relationship, glorious past, healthy bank balance and email contact consider joining other parties where these practices are rife. Incompetent candidates trying to pull a leverage based on above elements are simply going against the general mindset, ideology of the party and the essence of the Insafians. Members will not feel motivated to come together under such leadership which, in turn, may result in disintegration with in the party. Insafian will simply reject such leadership. It may also further disappoint the new comers and end the movement before it begins.

Insafian are looking representation by a dynamic young individual who can inspire youth through media. Perhaps public should also be able to see somewhat remote reflection of Khan Saab in the sophisticated and educated mannerism. An individual with the ability to kick start a strategic campaign to gather a team of performers, workers and substantial financial support from UK-a true team player. We often criticise the international coordinators of other parties who can barely speak coherent Urdu, struggle to make relevant points and are often ill-prepared on the media. Senior members are requested to help nominate the right candidate and incorporate a healthy culture of supporting the cause rather than the face. Potential candidates should weigh themselves in this criteria before nominating themselves.

The forthcoming election in Pakistan is one of the most important opportunity our generation is going to get to change the future. And if PTI does not reorgaise, change and position itself to contribute, we will simply miss the life time oppertunity. Failure is not an option!

[1] For ease of reference, an expression of he is used and intended to encompass male and female members of the party and no discrimination is intended.

(2) The example of current PPP government confirms the fact that without structure governance is very poor.
