These people who look in the past and try to bring back those old glory days have an interesting psychology. If you ask them today about who their Khalifah will be, they cannot answer. And they will NEVER be able to answer, because they will never be able to tolerate a different opinion. They will never unite.

The Khilafat system will NEVER work in today's day and age. First you need a Khalifah - Not the Ottoman style Khalifahs.. who had to be assassinated to progress. :P Not the Saudi style Kings who thankfully did only one thing good and not claim to be Khalifahs. You people are living in the past. Move on. You need something that Unites people of ALL faiths, race, cast and creed. Islam CANNOT do that. Give it up. The world is 7 Billion strong now.
