Dear Prime Minister, You forgot to mention that while you would love to receive donation of $1000 from overseas Pakistanis, it is very important for overseas Pakistanis to declare their religion before they make any donation. Religion declaration is a must before any donation because in case an Ahmadi makes a donation of even $1 Million dollars, it will be turned down. If it is against the norm for this government to accept intellectual wealth of an Ahmadi then it is also very important not to accept material wealth from Ahmadi people. I am quite sure collecting $1000 from overseas Ahmadi people will also be a sin.

Appreciate your sentiment. And I totally agree with your point. But, consider this: There are many challenges in Pakistan. We are progressing on some fronts and very hopeful for progress on others due to this new govt. Not everything will be solved quickly. Let him work through the most crucial ones that are existential challenges for Pakistan as a nation. Wait for the ones that he can not tackle at this time. It would be stupid to fight too many battles at the same time. Trust in Khan and give him time. He appointed an Ahmadi to a key advisory position. What does that tell you? He accepts difference in belief and understands that merit is the qualifier not the religion. Some balls he will have to let go, at-least for now. Appreciate where he is hitting sixes. He is just a human. Surrounded by a habitually corrupt and dishonest system. Support him in the good that he is doing. And keep reminding him of where he is not able to. Dams are for Pakistan. Support generously. Please.

I am a bit disappointed with IK. I know his govt is new, but he should have thanked SC to starting the initiative and take over the Dam Building responsibility. Its is not SC's job to collect money for it. PTI govt is depending too much on SC. They should move fast start taking actions on all front.

Also for OP, the govt should float a bond or Saving scheme which will guarantee their investment. Simply asking people to send money wont help.
