PKKH / Mere Log Boat Services Now Operational in Sindh

PKKH has launched the IBN-E-QASIM: SEARCH & RESCUE BOAT SERVICE for affected areas in Sindh, as part of the MERE LOG [Phase II] aid and relief project for the victims of recent floods in Pakistan.​

Docking at Bachao Band at Sindh River, Ibn-e-Qasim is operating in Nawshero Feroz district, Tharo Shah area, providing cooked meals to stranded people and evacuation where needed. 75000 people have been affected in this particular area.

Launched on Monday 23rd August, PKKH's Ibn-e-Qasim team has so far dispatched food and other supplies to over 200 families in Sindh, and helped with transportation of flood affectees, livestock and other goods.​

PKKH Volunteer teams are also servicing affectees of Sindh at relief camps in Sukkur providing hot meals, bread, milk, sweets and clean water. PKKH Teams are also assisting at medical camps and have arranged teams of doctors to visit the medical camps and provide basic healthcare to the affectees at no cost.​

By the way I just remembered something I did years ago. Before finishing my contract in Texas, I made friends with a teller at my bank. The teller was a Muslim brother. I conspired a deal with him.

I closed the account before heading back to Canada. Wrote my access PIN # on the back of my debit card and dropped it outside of a grocery store.

Few weeks later I contacted the brother and found out that there were over a dozen attempts to withdraw from closed account. :lol:

The original finder must have figured out my mischief and he dropped for others. Eventually one person brought the card to a branch some 60 miles away and turned it in as FOUND.
