Whereas:
We, the undersigned, concerned citizens of Canada, call upon the House of Commons to immediately ask for the release Imran Khan, the head of the largest and the most popular secular political party of Pakistan. And that the government of Pakistan should immediately hold free and fair elections in the country for citizens to exercise their basic democratic right peacefully. All those involved in human rights abuses and violence against protestors should be brought to justice and allegations of abuse by security forces thoroughly investigated.

Matter 1st discussed in Australian Parliament and now a petition in Canadian Parliament.
Soon it would be in the EU Parliament and then in the UN, and the process of sanctions will start against Pakistan.
FATF will be another forum.

Thank you hafaz, bao mafroor and his cohorts.

Overseas Pakistanis have an important role to play. They should continue to hold protests outside parliaments and Pakistani diplomatic missions. They should write to their members of parliaments too. Those who can should stop sending remittances.
